Oceanic Region – Special Operations Department

 

What does SOD do?

The Oceanic Region Special Operations Department is responsible for “special operations” inside the Oceanic Region division.

    • Creating SO Tours
    • Organization of SO-Events
    • Responsible for all SO-specific activities inside the XO division ⇒ air rescue, military, police
    • Development of national (division-specific) procedures

At the moment the position of the Special Operations Coordinator is not staffed. For this reason, special operations will be handled by the XO-FOD.
